Thanks for taking our surveys, Cheers!
Chippewa Pride
Chippewa Pride is coming home! Our roots run deep in Chippewa Falls, and it all started back in 1907 with Chippewa Pride. Long before "light beer" was even a category, Leinenkugel’s introduced this value-forward, premium light lager—making it the ultimate precursor to our later hits like Leinenkugel’s Light in the late ‘70s. Brewed with pale malt, flaked maize, and the pure, fresh water of Chippewa Falls, it’s a lighter-bodied, incredibly approachable beer that never cuts corners on quality. Though it hasn't been brewed in our original brewhouse since 1975, we are officially bringing this piece of history back to life. Crafted right here in our Pilot Brewery, come raise a glass to the place, the history, and the pride that defines us!
Citra Pale Ale
New Pilot innovation brewed right here, a pale ale featuring and only using Citra hops known for its pungent grapefruit, orange/mandarin and pineapple notes. A moderately bitter/highly aromatic hop forward style paired with a light malt backbone to create a refreshing, clean and crisp finish built for those hot summer days!
Leinenkugel’s Orange Shandy is returning to shelves because of you! Thanks to all your comments, cravings, and “pretty please bring it back” messages, Orange Shandy has officially returned to brighten your day everywhere for a limited time through Summer. Inspired by the orange harvests, bursting with citrusy cheer, it's our traditional wheat beer brewed with natural orange flavor! Oranges bring a bright citrus flavor to complement our traditional wheat beer. The result is as inviting as it is refreshing. With a zesty citrus taste, it’s just what you need to stay on the brighter side of the season.
TAKE THE DRY HOPPED PILSNER SURVEY
This crisp, clean pilsner-style is similar to the German pilsner but with a twist. A small dry hop addition of European noble hops is added providing a subtle, slightly more complex hop character that's not overpowering, leaving you ready for another sip without a harsh bitter finish. Our brewers crafted the Dry Hopped Pilsner to pair to perfection with our new Johnsonville x Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandy bratwurst, find the brat in select retail stores near you this Summer!
Also known as a Helles Bock, this is a pale and drier German lager typically released in Spring (German word Mai means the month of May) that features less malty richness (like in our Toasted Bock) and instead more bready, lighter malt characteristics from the use of pale and Munich malts. Moderate bitterness and subtle spicy, herbal notes shine from the German hop varietals used.
TAKE THE HIGH SHORE SHANDY SURVEY
High Shore Shandy, a bold, imperial twist on the classic Summer Shandy you love. We started with our signature lemonade flavor & paired it with a strong malt backbone, creating a brew that’s bigger, bolder, and bursting with crisp citrus character at 8% ABV! First crafted in the Leinie Lodge Pilot Brewery, where it was tasted, tested, & perfected right here in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Available year-round nationwide, only in 19.2oz cans.
